Texas Violet Salvia

12-32″ tall x 12-24″ wide. Summer isn’t complete without the flowers of ‘Texas Violet’ Mealy Cup Sage (Salvia farinacea). This plant has a loose habit that lends a natural, informal character to a planting. Plant ‘Texas Violet’ in a full sun to part shade location, among other summer flowers such as Echinacea, Penstemon, and Agastache. Spikes of deep purple flowers are the perfect complement to summer’s orange, yellow, and red blooms. In cooler zones plant this tender perennial as an annual and it will bloom from summer to fall.
